Aretha Franklin's 1967 anthem for all women everywhere has been a constant. I've sung it with young ladies seeking control and themselves, played 'cups' to it with a group of teens (before Pitch Perfect took over), helped someone learn guitar with it so that they have a skill and something positive to focus on when they return home, used lyric substitution and fill-in-the-gap with a group of adults who love it just as much as I do, and... I've done a fair amount of singing-at-the-top-of-my-lungs to it myself ;P Thanks Aretha, you're one of those Evergreen legends :)
