'Polyphony' seeks to share my personal journey and growth as a Kiwi through my music therapy experiences in NZ Aotearoa. It was a journey in itself writing this challenging piece, which you can read in 'Only Connect'. I've also opened a window into one of my days of work in a therapy room, and revealed the sounds that unfold when working with the CeleBRation Choir. The book is truly a wonderful collection, many thanks to Claire Molyneux for realising it.

Together with my wonderful research supervisor Sarah Hoskyns, we share more findings from my Masters research on how registered music therapists can support pre-schoolers' speech and expressive language development. Many thanks to families and places who gave permission for this research to be shared through the New Zealand Journal of Music Therapy, which can be sourced through www.musictherapy.org.nz or online via the RILM database.

Many thanks also to Prof. Suzanne Purdy and the Centre for Brain Research for supporting my colleague Alison Talmage and I, along with Music Therapy New Zealand, to hold the Music Therapy Symposium in 2016. It was a wonderful opportunity to share about music therapy practice and research, and soon you will be able to find video recordings of the presentations on the MThNZ website - watch that space!
